They will never be this young and free again…but they’ll probably still dress alike into their 40s.

And then there’s THIS guy.

I did a really fun hike on the Tejon Ranch in Jan. 2025. We got back to the parking area and as we were getting ready to leave, several REAL LIVE COWBOYS showed up herding cattle through a pasture.

A remnant of the old west just a short drive from my boring suburban house.

I went to New York in Sept. 2024 for a journalism conference, which was LAME-O.

So I did a ton of touristy stuff. One morning, I got up early and took a cab from midtown up to the Guggenheim just to see the building, and walked back through Central Park. It rained most of the way, but was warm so it was a great walk.

I heard some beautiful music and came across this quintessential New York scene. I got some video too, but didn’t want to bug the musician so wandered on my way.

The top photo is the famous “Moonrise Over Hernandez” by Ansel Adams.

The bottom photo is a not-so-famous photo of the moon rising over my hoarder neighbors’ back lot, titled “Moon Over Clampett.”

I love the color in this photo and the sunlight on the hills. Wish I had a better camera. But only had the iphone when we drove by Sunday, 2.14.21 about 5 p.m. This is the California Aqueduct looking south from Highway 166 south of Mettler.
